Big Coal: The Dirty Secret Behind America's Energy Future

Big Coal: The Dirty Secret Behind America’s Energy Future by Jeff Goodell

review: Excellent insight into not only coal, but touches on other energy resources. While occasionally heady, it is mostly an entertaining read with the history of coals growth, demise, and re-emerging again. China’s black coal situation is pretty scary and just a few weeks after reading this, California announced that up to 25% of air pollution particulates are now coming from overseas. eBay(TM) Strategies: 10 Proven Methods to Maximize Your eBay Business – Scot Wingo Written by the CEO of Channel Advisor, a well respected consultant for power ebay sellers. This book is not for beginner sellers, but for those building a serious ebay biz. Like attending a trade show conference, if I come out with one solid item to improve my business, I’ll call it a success. With this book, there were several worthy nuggets so I’ve now purchased it for my reference library (first borrowed from public libary). To optimize sales it answers questions such as what time of day do you list, day of week, # days to list, selling price, upselling and more.

Staying long in a stock when a fund is dumping, and therefore driving down price, doesn’t make sense. This was another new booklibrary pick, but became a must for my own library. Note: you can’t do this in 15 minutes a day until you have picked your stock portfolio which may take a while (like weeks). Until then, you’ll have a lot of research to do.
